Anybus ProfiHub A5 is a weather-resistant, 5-channel PROFIBUS repeater. It makes network segmentation simple even in demanding environments and, thanks to its IP65 rating, can be installed directly in the field.
It complies with the strict rules for spur lines and star networks, so communication stays reliable even in complex topologies. The 5 channels are isolated: each one handles up to 31 devices, with a length equal to that of the main bus. The repeater is transparent and supports connection speeds from 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps.
